Through Mr. Ali Salman of BRAC University I am writing to you this message from the office of Australian Education International, Australian High Commission, New Delhi. I visited many universities in Dhaka last month to make them aware of the Australian Government Scholarships specifically named as Endeavour Awards.
The Australian Scholarships initiative brings together under one umbrella Australian Government scholarship programs managed by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
The Endeavour Scholarships bring to Australia leading researchers, executives and students to undertake short or long-term study, research or professional development in a broad range of disciplines, and enables Australians to do the same in India.
Endeavour Scholarships cover:
Post graduate and Postdoctoral Awards (1-5 yrs);
Vocational Education and Training Awards (1-2.5 yrs);
Executive Awards (1-4 months); Student Exchanges.
The Deadline for all awards is 31 July, 2009.

The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government's internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for citizens of the Asia-Pacific region to undertake study, research and professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to do the same abroad.
